Kevin White and Joseph Timilty are the top two finishers in the preliminary election for mayor.

White, with 50,272 votes, and Timilty, with 33,026, finish ahead of Mel King, with 17,490, and David Finnegan, with 17,306. King receives 50% of the vote in the city’s 49 primarily minority precincts.
